  This is another episode of the events that unfolds since the day the Rusape Town Secretary, Solomon Gabaza, was sent on forced leave by council Chairperson Cllr Sithole. Word has spread the whole of Rusape town from Monday the 8 th of June that the Town Secretary wrote to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government and National Housing ordering him to quash or set aside the ongoing investigations of the Town Secretary. It is now on record the Town Secretary is taking the Chairperson’s 11 th May action as gesture of animosity, acrimony and bad faith. The much-hyped City of Mutare Director of Engineering and Technical Services Corruption case a Monumental Flop

M Kerith  After spending close to two years under prosecution on charges of Criminal Abuse of duty as a public officer, City of Mutare Director of Engineering and Technical Services (DETS) Eng. Maxwell Kerith and Patrick Magwegwe, Acting Workshop Manager are now free as State withdrew charges against them on the 9th of February 2023. The prosecutor struggled with dead case when it kicked off despite several celebrations from a handful of alleged city Cartels who wanted to see the D.E.T.S arrested. The DETS who is turn 40 this year and his subordinate Patrick Magwegwe (36) were arrested on 14th of April 2021 and appeared in Court on 15th of April 2021 for criminal abuse of office. Jenaguru unveils tompstone for late musician

Jenaguru Arts Centre is honouring departed musicians with special tombstones for their contribution to the music industry. The project, which had been shelved for some years due to various challenges, was recently given a new lease of life and late musicians to be honoured in the next few months include Biggie Tembo, Tineyi Chikupo, Chiwoniso Maraire and Robson Banda. Jenaguru Arts Centre director Clive Malunga said there was a long list of artistes whose graves were not in good shape and they wanted to show their respect to the departed singers through erecting admirable tombstones on their graves. Malunga said it had become a common trend to have sad stories about the demise of music legends and Jenaguru wanted to paint a different picture. “It is not a good picture when musicians are portrayed as paupers that cannot have decent resting places.
